Why Practice Meditation?

While there are many ways to meditate, the goal of meditation is singular: to create mindful awareness and expanded consciousness. Meditation brings us to present moment awareness, helps to process emotions and the mind's clutter and stress, bringing us into greater acceptance of life and connection to one's self.  

Jennifer is passionate about and is certified to guide iRest® Yoga Nidra meditation (https://www.irest.org/). It is a simple guided meditation everyone can do and said to be more restful than sleep. It may be used for practitioners feel ease, peace, and joy, and help heal:

Jennifer also guides mindfulness meditation, and facilitates mindfulness programs for businesses. Meditation generally has several benefits included but not limited to:

• Decreased blood pressure and hypertension
